Job Description

The HR Recruiting Manager under the general supervision of the Director of Human Resources performs management duties supporting the Recruiting Staff and leads the Recruiting Department as a member of management.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Works jointly with recruiters and oversees the sourcing, interviewing, and hiring processes of team members.
  • Partner with department leaders on solutions to staffing and retention issues and planning giving both strategic and tactical guidance.
  • Monitor compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and organization objectives. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Managers the day-to-day activities of the compensation programs. Sets goals and objectives that support the HR direction.
  • Ensures that the recruiting strategies used by the team are up to date and implements new strategies as appropriate.
  • Search for and enforce new sourcing methods to find job candidates.
  • Work with hiring managers on interviewing methods.
  • Performs supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, such as interviewing, hiring, and training; planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, and corrective action.
  • Attends career events and job fairs.
  • Researches the best job advertising techniques.
  • Assesses the training needs for the recruiters and designs and implements training programs accordingly.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Extensive experience in recruiting, including experience managing the recruiting process.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience in screening and interviewing job applicants.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and people skills.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide, support and motivate the recruiters.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with the departments across the property.
  • The ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Ability to make sound decisions quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Skilled in the use of personal computers and other office equipment.

Requirements

GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED

Mandatory Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • At least three (3) years of Recruiting Management experience, leading a team
  • At least (2) years of Human Resources experience
  • Understanding of employment practices.
  • Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a valid gaming license.

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or closely related field.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in a management role, leading a team.
  • Previous experience with compensation policies.
  • Spanish speaking preferred.
  • Experience working in a high-pressure environment.

Additional Information

Hiring Salary Range: $70,000 – $85,000 based on current compensation
