Job Description

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth running of all IT operations within the organization. This includes managing the IT team, developing and implementing IT policies, and ensuring the secure and efficient use of IT infrastructure. The IT Manager will play a key role in maintaining the company’s technology framework, providing strategic direction for IT initiatives, and ensuring that all IT systems are aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • IT Infrastructure: Oversee the management, maintenance, and enhancement of the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware.
  • Security: Develop and implement comprehensive IT security policies to safeguard the company’s data and systems against potential threats.
  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the desired objectives.
  • Support: Ensure high levels of availability and reliability of IT services by providing robust support systems and timely technical assistance.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to secure cost-effective and efficient products and services.
  • Policy Development: Create and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information.
  • Strategic Planning: Work with senior management to identify and implement new technologies that will enhance the company’s competitive edge.


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role, with proven experience in managing IT teams and projects.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and security systems. Proficiency in various IT software and tools.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Certifications: Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are highly desirable.
