<p><strong>Job Description </strong>The Arena Booking &amp; Sales Manager is responsible for seeking, maintaining and</p>
<p>executing business for the Orleans Arena Event Department and the Orleans Hotel Sales</p>
<p>Department. The primary duties of this position include coordinating event calendars,</p>
<p>maintaining event related rooming blocks, generating new business as well as</p>
<p>overseeing the execution of existing business for the areas of responsibility assigned.</p>
<p>Other duties include creating event pro formas, diagrams and manifests as well as</p>

<p>monitor rooming inventory, quote rates, develop rooming blocks and generate contracts</p>

<p>The Zouk Group Operations Manager is responsible for leading, educating, motivating, and energizing the team to provide a world class experience for each guest. This role will ensure food and drink quality, excellent customer service, while maintaining daily presentation of the venue.</p>
<p><strong>Primary Job Duties:</strong> Includes but is not limited to:</p>

<li>Respond to Guest concerns/complaints regarding service or beverages and correct errors or resolve complaints with a positive attitude.</li>
<li>Implement, maintain and provide recommendations on operating standards, policies, and procedures to be followed by line level managers and staff members.</li>
<li>Maintain highest standards of food and beverage quality, guest service, cost control, and consistency in accordance with company&#8217;s expectations.</li>
<li>Responsible for assisting in hiring, training, management, coaching, counselling, and evaluation of all members of the team.</li>
<li>Assist in the day to day operations of Zouk Group venues, including restaurants, lounges, daylife and nightlife.</li>
<li>Ensure sales and expenses are being monitored on a daily basis and are properly tracked each day.</li>
<li>Overseeing the accurate completion of daily, weekly, and monthly reports and inventories.</li>
<li>Create weekly schedules related to staffing, cleaning, and third party vendors.</li>
<li>Ensure health, safety, and sanitation requirements follow the Department of Health, OSHA, Gaming, and any city or state agencies rules and always such as Department of Buildings and Fire Department.</li>

Various duties may include assisting with booking live entertainers, reconciling event financials, and dealing with artists, vendors, and team members at the venue location. Additionally, this position will help with the set-up, running errands and aiding in all aspects of production to ensure the completion of a successful activation, providing the highest quality experience for our guests.</p>
<p><b>Core Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Assist with day-to-day office operations of the Entertainment Department.</li>
<li>Assist Director of Entertainment Programming &amp; Activation with the coordination and execution of all casino activations &amp; programming.</li>
<li>Create and manage Entertainment and Event Calendars in collaboration with all other property calendars.</li>
<li>Work closely with the A/V team on all events to ensure the production’s needs are prioritized and communicated clearly to all departments.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with all Palms departments to provide successful entertainment options in all venues as they relate to events, holidays, and conventions both internally and city-wide.</li>
<li>Develop, foster, and maintain external business relations with artists, agents, event promoters and key entertainment partners such as sponsors and vendors.</li>
<li>Update and maintain the property’s Live Entertainment Tax (LET) calendar.</li>
<li>Create reliable financial reports, assuring payments are made and received in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Ensure that all legal documentation and contractual obligations are met by the client.</li>
<li>Coordinate with Accounts Payable on a weekly basis for the purpose of tracking payments, BEOs and departmental invoicing.</li>

<li>Maintain a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events.</li>
<li>Use event checklists as an organizational tool for each promotion/event.</li>
<li>Adhere to timelines and due dates diligently as assigned.</li>
