                    <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>The Job </strong>As a Finance Shared Services Center Manager, you will lead gaming compliance operations with a strong emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory excellence. You will partner closely with cross‑functional finance and business leaders while overseeing a team of Senior Specialists and Specialists. This role is responsible for managing audits and compliance reviews—including MICS, MGM Rewards, BetMGM, special events, and 1099s—supporting internal and external audits, and resolving complex business inquiries. You will also drive process standardization, continuous improvement initiatives, and the adoption of automation and digital solutions to strengthen controls, enhance scalability, and support the organization’s strategic objectives.</p>
<p><strong>The Day-to-day </strong></p>

<li>Possesses knowledge of Shared Services and integrates principles into decisions regarding departmental processes, procedures, and projects.</li>
<li>Enhance process design across multiple business units to improve scalability and consistency.</li>
<li>Recommend strategy and implementation design for new business or increased business volumes, and integrate into existing processes.</li>
<li>Monitors and drives the LEAN Educated program and training amongst the team, ensuring implementation of continuous improvement ideas and providing recognition.</li>

<li>Continuously build, develop and improve operations, processes, and procedures in Shared Services to support strategic direction through the use of technology (RPA, AI, etc.)</li>
<li>Develop and manage a changing work environment from the use of automation and digital innovation.</li>
<li>Participate and execute technology developments that supports the strategic direction of Shared Services.</li>
<li>Builds and develops personnel to continually sustain a high-quality and high-performing team.</li>

<li>Generate accurate and timely monthly financial statements and support in the month-end close process</li>
<li>Prepare journal entries and maintain balance sheet schedules and ledgers</li>
<li>Prepare report packages required internally and externally</li>
<li>Maintain proper documentation and audit evidence is organized and accounted for within the department</li>
<li>Prepare monthly account reconciliations</li>
<li>Adhere to deadlines, time constraints, and efficient request responses</li>
<li>Ensure accounting records and practices adhere to G.A.A.P and company policies and remain standard across all business units</li>
<li>Provide support, training, problem resolution, and development to accountants on an ongoing basis to ensure the department performs at a maximum performance level</li>

<li>Experience with monthly and quarterly financial reporting including P&amp;L review</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, innovative, flexible, and task-oriented, and can work independently with minimal direction</li>
<li>Must be flexible, able to handle multiple tasks, and establish priorities effectively.</li>
<li>Experience establishing financial reports and utilizing them to make recommendations and decisions based on financial data</li>
<li>Intermediate/advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)</li>

                    <description><![CDATA[<p>Reporting to Director of Financial Accounting, the Palms Place Senior Accountant oversees all financial aspects relating to Palms Place. This position would maintain accounting processes, ensure accurate billing to residents, and prepare budgets for the HOA and the building overall.</p>
<p><b>Core Job Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including reconciliations, financial reporting, year-end audit, and compliance with policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Manage monthly billing of shared assessments for all units as well as supplementary charges including transient rentals, housekeeping, and engineering.</li>
<li>Ensure all invoices related to the building are directly billed and coded to Palms Place.</li>
<li>Assist in purchases and requisitions related to operating the building.</li>
<li>Manage day to day tactical and strategic functions of accounting, including journal entries, batch approvals, and account analysis.</li>
<li>Maintain active roster of units enrolled in the Palms Place Rental Program as well as third party rentals.</li>
<li>Assist in Unit Owner billing requests/questions relating to their specific units.</li>
<li>Identify, develop, and implement procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy of the building.</li>
<li>Prepare and present budget materials for senior management and HOA board members annually.</li>
<li>Prepare key materials for senior management.</li>
<li>Maintain relationships with third party vendors for accurate financial reporting.</li>
<li>Ensure periodic bank compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.</li>
<li>Assist in Unit Owner COI requests, tracking, and inquiries.</li>
<li>Assist with Processing Reserve Fund transfers, expenses, withdrawals in accordance with NRS 116B and the Governing Documents.</li>
<li>Perform other job‐related duties as requested.</li>

<p><b>Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>At least 3 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in the Hospitality and/or Association industry.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.</li>
<li>Active CPA license preferred.</li>
<li>Willingness to learn and try new tools/technology used in supporting our partners.</li>
<li>Strong follow-through and attention to details.</li>
<li>Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Must be proactive and willing to help improve processes.</li>
<li>Commitment to excellence and high standards and integrity.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently in a timely and effective manner to meet individual and team goals.</li>
<li>Strong computer skills and proficiency with online tools and resources.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure and prioritize workload.</li>

<li>Work is performed in an office setting within an office setting.</li>

<li>Constant contact with executives, department management, employees, and guests.</li>
<li>Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.</li>
