Senior Internal Auditor – IT

Job Description

The Senior Internal Auditor – IT, under the direction of Internal Audit Leadership, is responsible to initiate, lead, and complete IT related Internal Audits as assigned in accordance with the Annual Audit Plan including, but not limited to, the following: required Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 Audits, required Nevada Gaming Control Board Minimum Internal Control Standards Audits, Other Information Technology Audits, Operational Reviews, and procedures initiated by specific Management requests. This position is based out of Las Vegas, Nevada and is required to be onsite at Wynn’s Property.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or similar disciplines is required
Relevant Professional Certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA, CISM, etc.) strongly preferred
Prior experience in an External or Internal IT Audit function and leading audit engagements
Must be able to initiate, lead, and complete audits independently with limited management assistance.
Strong consideration given for candidates with prior Audit Experience in any or all the following areas:
- Sarbanes-Oxley (ITGCs, ITACs, IPEs)
- NGCB IT MICS
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
Must have excellent analytical skills, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and ability to exercise independent professional judgement.
Must have effective time management skills.
Must possess excellent computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (emphasis on advanced knowledge with Excel, Outlook, Word)
Any independence conflict that exists regarding areas subject to audit or review must be disclosed prior to entering the position.
Candidates must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older.
Registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board is required and must be completed before entering this position.

Manager – IT Operations & Applications Support

Job Description

Manager – IT Operations (App Support) is responsible for the ongoing coordination within the IT Department. Responsible for managing all members who are maintaining all desktop, laptop and mobile devices to ensure that systems are operating at optimal levels. This includes, but is not limited to: maintaining processes, scheduling, and supporting department team members and maximizing opportunities for departmental success; maintaining all Wynn Standards; and ensuring excellent guest and team member experience.

Keeps informed of all new developments within the department and makes recommendations designed to maximize department and company success.
Effectively manages internal and external guest relations, which may require levels of patience, tact and diplomacy. Responsible for addressing guest and team member issues as appropriate.
Manages multiple priorities simultaneously and meets deadlines, often in stressful and high-pressure situations.
Must have the ability to promote positive, fair, and ethical relations with all team members, with all Wynn contractors, and in all interactions within the Host and Surrounding Communities, as an ambassador of the Wynn brand.
Plans, directs and coordinates activities of departmental technology projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.
Has overall responsibility for planning, directing and coordinating activities pertaining to technology projects for a given business unit.
Responsible to provide timelines and other project documents in a professional manner
Works closely with the assigned user community (and through business technologists) to determine how technology might assist in addressing its needs, and then translates these needs into system requirements and design specifications.
Understands how to leverage solutions for competitive advantage.
Manages a dynamic team of individuals who constantly search for creative ways to elevate the capabilities of technology systems to meet business needs, partly by capitalizing on emerging technologies and partly by adapting technologies to the needs of the customer.
Ensures proper communication with the business ensuring that internal customers participate, drive many elements of this strategy and mediate competing needs among stakeholders. Work with the Senior Manager of the Business Intelligence Group (BIG) to find solutions to conflicting ideas and priorities while making progress on strategy and while keeping everyone satisfied.
Works with product vendors to ensure visibility of problems identified above and/or enhancement opportunities.
Works with business partners to review and screen products and vendors as needed.
Provides subject matter/domain expertise within the assigned vertical.
Understands all aspects of computer hardware.
Provides leadership and assistance to departmental staff.
Enhances and maintain IT Division standards and encourage refresher training to maintain Team Members’ competency levels.
Demonstrates and maintain effective communication with all Team Members

Age, Gaming and Certifications:

21 years of age or above.

Will[PN1] be required to obtain and maintain registration, or a license issued by the state of Nevada.

Strong consideration given for individuals who possess experience in large property pre-opening projects and IT operation experience in both gaming and hospitality.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.

Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience.

Hands on experience with all forms of computer hardware – desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, scanners, and mobile devices.

3 to 5 years in computer hardware environment, or equivalent is required.

2 to 3 years of demonstrated management/supervisory experience in end user computing environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.

Candidate must have experience with scheduling technical staff in a 24 X 7 X 365 environment.

Candidate must have experience with planning and project management.

Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.

Knowledge of union as well as non-union working environments preferred.

Gaming Industry or Casino Operator experience or hospitality is preferred.

Technical management experience in a dynamic high-technology environment is a key success factor.

Working knowledge of all state, federal, and gaming laws and regulations.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. Fluency in English required, second language a plus. Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.

Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to decipher reports and maintain reports on request.

Security Analyst I

Under the direction of the Executive Director Compliance, Information Security Operations, the Security Analyst I supports efforts to ensure that information assets are adequately protected, and proper security controls are in place for all current and future IT and Information Security systems.
Champions a security mindset to all enterprise team members and recognizes the value of standards, policy and procedures, operational effectiveness, and high availability. This role supports incident response activities and post-incident actions.

Core Responsibilities:

Executes incident response and issue management resulting from security investigations. Works with technical experts and leadership on security incident follow up, assists with the resolution of daily incidents such as intrusion detection, malware infections, denial of service attacks, data leak protections, privileged account misuse and network breaches.
Analyzes and validates environment controls validation to ensure systems are operating securely and data is protected from both internal and external attacks.
Monitors security logs and alerts to identify and investigate potential security incidents. Participates in on-call rotation to support after-hours security incidents and operational support.
Assists with security controls remediation and enhancements to reduce risk throughout enterprise systems, data, and network.
Documents existing enterprise security systems configuration, processes, procedures and recommend improvements and/or alternatives.
Supports the cybersecurity toolset lifecycle management including assisting with SMEs on design, acquisition, inventory, process documentation, deployment, maintenance, change management, monitoring, reporting, decommission and other service assurance activities.
Conducts research on emerging security technologies to support system development efforts and submits findings to support decision making on technologies to increase cost effectiveness and flexibility in a holistically secure environment.
Performs other duties as assigned to support the eﬃcient operation of the department.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in information security, technology, statistics, mathematics, or related field required.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in an information technology or information security role required.
Experience with Casino & Tribal government technology and security goals strongly preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot through Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) Model:
Network security monitoring, traffic analysis, packet capture.
Transmission Control Protocol and the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) networking and routing protocols.
Implementing two-factor authentication.
Experience with the following technology preferred:
Artificial Intelligence.
