Job Description
The Multimedia Editor plays a pivotal role in our marketing team, focusing on editing compelling video and photo content that promotes our resort’s amenities and attractions. This position requires a blend of creative vision, technical expertise, and organizational skills, particularly in planning and organizing shoots to ensure efficient and high-quality content production.
Primary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to:
- Edit video and photo content that aligns with marketing goals and brand identity, using storytelling techniques to captivate our audience.
- Organize and coordinate video and photo shoots, including scheduling, location scouting, and ensuring all necessary equipment and resources are available.
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, marketing team members, and other departments to plan and execute shoots.
- Manage post-production workflows, including editing, color grading, retouching, and sound design, to create polished, professional content.
- Contribute creative ideas for new content and improvements to production processes.
- Use personal device/cellular phone for job-related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:
- Expertise in video and photo editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred
- Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
- Experience in the hospitality, entertainment, or related industry.
- Knowledge of the latest video and photo production trends and technology.
Minimum Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Photography, or related field.
- 3+ years of video and photo editing experience, with a portfolio showcasing a range of projects.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
