Job Description

The Multimedia Editor plays a pivotal role in our marketing team, focusing on editing compelling video and photo content that promotes our resort’s amenities and attractions. This position requires a blend of creative vision, technical expertise, and organizational skills, particularly in planning and organizing shoots to ensure efficient and high-quality content production.

Primary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to:

  • Edit video and photo content that aligns with marketing goals and brand identity, using storytelling techniques to captivate our audience.
  • Organize and coordinate video and photo shoots, including scheduling, location scouting, and ensuring all necessary equipment and resources are available.
  • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, marketing team members, and other departments to plan and execute shoots.
  • Manage post-production workflows, including editing, color grading, retouching, and sound design, to create polished, professional content.
  • Contribute creative ideas for new content and improvements to production processes.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job-related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:

  • Expertise in video and photo editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro).
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred

  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
  • Experience in the hospitality, entertainment, or related industry.
  • Knowledge of the latest video and photo production trends and technology.

Minimum Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Photography, or related field.
  • 3+ years of video and photo editing experience, with a portfolio showcasing a range of projects.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
