Arte Nathan served as Chief Human Resources Officer for Steve Wynn’s gaming companies from 1983 – 2006, and opened their casinos in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Mississippi and China. Arte retired from the gaming industry in November 2006 and began teaching and consulting with companies that want to learn more about startups, turnarounds, and management effectiveness. He is currently President of Strategic Development Worldwide, Founder and Partner at Tiny Classroom Training, and Strategic Partner with Bentley Price Associates.
Arte graduated from Cornell University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations. He has been the recipient of many awards for his work in Human Resources, community affairs, and education. He is a frequent guest lecturer at colleges and universities and has addressed numerous professional associations and conferences about leadership and human resource management. He currently teaches, writes and consults, and splits his time between Las Vegas and the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York.
